Which O level Result is more valuable Between WAEC, NECO, and GCE?

This is a question that has been asked by so many candidates who wish to further their studies to a tertiary level. Well, I will give you a satisfying answer to this question. O’level Result is one of the most important things that is considered when seeking admission into any Tertiary Institution.

Now, you may be tempted to ask questions like Which O’level Result is the most valuable between WAEC, NECO, GCE, etc. To shock you, all O’level results are good if only they are approved and generally acceptable for all and by all Academic institutes.

WAEC: which may also be called WASSCE stands for the West African Examination Council. It is an examination body that is aimed at testing all final year students of West African Secondary Schools through its exam. WAEC is also the Exam body that issues the GCE exam. WAEC Exam is written by West African Countries including Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra lone, Gambia, etc.

NECO: NECO which stands for National Examination Council is a very popular examination body in Nigeria that also that is also aimed at testing all final year students of Secondary Schools within Nigeria. NECO Exam always comes up immediately WAEC Exams are completed.

Is it compulsory to write WAEC, NECO, and GCE Exam at a time?

It is not compulsory to write more than two O’level exams at a time. It is fully optional. WAEC Exam is not compulsory for all Secondary Schools students and so is NECO and GCE. So a Candidate might decide to register for Only WAEC, NECO, or GCE. But there is no problem if a candidate may register the three Exams at a time.

So what should you do?

We recommend Registering and participating in more than one O’level exam. WHY? We recommend this because no one knows if your O’level Result in a particular Exam will be okay. In a case where your WAEC exam becomes invalid because of failures in some subjects, then you can opt-in and use your other O’level Result.

Why Is O’level result so important?

O’level Result (either of WAEC, NECO, and GCE) is very important. Some of the most important things we have considered about the O’level Results are as follows:

  1. It is one of the needed requirements for seeking Admission into Tertiary Institutions.
  2. An O’level Result holder can use their O’level result to seek for employment. This means that there are some jobs that require a Qualification of the only O’level.

Your O’level should have at least a grade of A, B, or C in at least 5 of your core subjects.

What you should take away.

It is very important that you prepare very well for the upcoming 2021 WAEC exam. If you found this “correct WAEC timetable 2020/2021” very helpful, THEN share it with your friends who are also in need of this.
