The Full list of Faculties and Courses Offered In UNILORIN

The institution started her academic activities in the year 1976 with about 200 students. The first sets of faculties at start up were Faculties of Education, Science and Art. During the years of inception that followed, the school authorities were fully dedicated and brought out their time and resources mostly to science development with registration of more of the science-oriented programs and study areas.
It was not until the year 1993 that the institution founded the Faculty of Law. The faculty however started as an ordinary department in the faculty of Business and in the faculty of Social Sciences in the year 1983. The institution is grouped into two (2) campuses, the university main campus and the College of Health Sciences campus. Moreover, Faculties of Basic Medical Sciences and Clinical Sciences are the only faculties that were not sited on the main campus. As at today, the university of Ilorin has developed from just three faculties it had at onset to 15 different faculties. The university now boasts of more than 60 academic departments.
