What is UNICAL Cut off mark for 2021? The general University Of Calabar JAMB cut-off mark for 2021 is 180 for all undergraduate admission.

This simply implies that all candidates who scored up to 180 in the 2021 JAMB UTME are qualified to apply for admission.

Note; This cut-off mark is the same and applicable to both UTME and Direct Entry applicants who have chosen the University Of Calabar for 2021/2022 academic session admission.

The JAMB cut-off mark is the same as the UNICAL POST UTME Cut-off mark but the aggregate score is more like a departmental cut-off point and it is arrived at, after calculating the grades in the O’level and JAMB result range.

Note; the University Of Calabar has not released her 2021 departmental cut-off mark for their courses, departments, or faculty. The above marks are estimeted.

That will only be released after they have considered the score range of all applicants across each department and it will help them to fix a suitable cutoff point for each course.

UNICAL Direct Entry cut off mark

The UNICAL direct entry cut off mark is 180 for all courses and across all direct entry program as long as their admission is through JAMB.

Aspirants who have met the cut-off mark may proceed to apply for the UNICAL Post UTME screening exercise here provided you meet all the requirements.

Importantly, only candidates that;

  • Made University Of Calabar their first choice
  • Are not older than sixteen (16) years.
  • All candidates must have a 5 credit pass including English Language, Maths, and 3 related subjects in not more than two sittings.

Illustratively, the O’level result carries 40% of the aggregate score depending on your grades while the JAMB result carries 60% depending o your score range.

Like I said before, only candidates that have met all the UNICAL admission requirements will be offered admission.

So meeting other UNICAL admission requirements alongside the Cut-off mark is the very key criterion for gaining admission.
