Firstly, for you to be eligible to apply for the Post UTME of any school, you must meet that school general JAMB cutoff point as shown below:

General JAMB Cutoff Marks for 2021

  • Federal Universities — at least and above 180.
  • State/Private Universities — at least 160 and above.

Other Requirements for Admission

The following requirements are paramount if you are interested in gaining admission to the University of Ibadan (UI) this year in Nigeria.

  • At least 5 credits in SSCE/GCE or Ordinary Level (O’level) Result in not more than 2 sittings.
  • A minimum JAMB Score of 180 depending on your choice of Institution and Course.
  • Merit Pass in the National Certificate of Education (NCE), National Diploma (ND), and other Advanced Level Certificates for Direct Entry candidates.

Aggregate Score and Admission Chances

The UI Aggregate Score = (JAMB SCORE )/8) + (Post-UTME SCORE/2 ).

For Example, If your Post-UTME score is 53 and your JAMB score is 207, your Admission aggregate score will be 52.38.
