Is it true that Higher Institutions in Nigeria Will Resume on September 7, 2020? There is an ongoing rumor that higher institutions (including universities, polytechnics, and colleges) in Nigeria will Resume on September 7, 2020. But although the Federal Government has given the order for the reopening of secondary schools in Nigeria, there are laid down guidelines as follows: Schools in the country would officially reopen in phases beginning August 4, 2020, for final-year students in Universities, SS3 and primary schools

He announced this during a daily COVID-19 briefing in Abuja, explained that the gesture is to enable final year, SSCE, and Primary Six students take their exams.

He said consultations to various stakeholders have already started with consultations on a memorandum of understanding dispatched to various learning institutions and other sectors for their views on the safe reopening of their various contents.
