This statement was disclosed to the public by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation and Chairman, Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, Boss Mustapha.
He announced this during a daily COVID-19 briefing in Abuja, explained that the gesture is to enable final year, SSCE, and Primary Six students to take their exams.

He said consultations to various stakeholders have already started with consultations on a memorandum of understanding dispatched to various learning institutions and other sectors for their views on the safe reopening of their various contents.
