Guidelines for Gaining Admission Easily in Nigeria

If you want to write JAMB and gain admission in one year, then the following are good Guidelines for Gaining Admission Easily in Nigeria that you should follow.

  • Apply for admission in less competitive courses: If you know that your JAMB score is low and will not meet your desired course of choice, then change your course to a less competitive one
  • Go for less competitive institutions: Institutions with a low number of applicants give admission easily to candidates with low JAMB score. See top Universities that accept a low JAMB score of 120 and above.
  • Don’t go for a professional course like Law, Medicine and so on. But if you really want to go for a  professional course, then you should make sure you score high in JAMB. You can also go to a less competitive institution that offers this professional course.
  • If you apply for highly competitive institutions, then you have to go for a very less competitive course e.g. Education and Agriculture courses.
  • But if you desire to go for a professional course in a competitive institution, then you should make sure you score high in JAMB.

Requirements for Gaining Admission into Nigerian Universities

The following requirements are paramount if you are interested in gaining admission into any Nigerian institution.

  • Not less than five (5) credits in your SSCE/GCE or O’level result in not more than 2 sittings.
  • Meet the cut-off mark of your choice of Institution and the departmental cut off mark for your course.
  • Merit Pass in the National Certificate of Education (NCE), National Diploma (ND), or any other Advanced Level (A’level) certificates for Direct Entry candidates.
