Before you go ahead check your admission status, Ebonyi State University has released the following instructions for candidates to follow to avoid mistakes.
- Candidates are to, first of all, check their admission status on the JAMB CAPS portal.
- All admitted candidates on JAMB CAPS are strictly advised to accept their admission instantly or within two weeks.
- Any admitted candidates that do not accept his admission within two weeks will be automatically replaced.
- Only the names of candidates that are admitted on JAMB CAPS will reflect on the EBSU admission list/portal for confirmation.
- Admitted candidates are instructed to pay their acceptance fee within two weeks to avoid being replaced.
- All candidates will not be admitted at the same time. Some may be admitted in the merit list, supplementary list, or other batches.
- Those who do not see their admission status are advised to keep checking all the time.
How To Check EBSU Admission List on Portal 2021
Please follow the steps listed below to check your EBSU admission status on the Ebonyi State University admission portal.
- Visit EBSU admission status checker portal @ https://iportal.ebsu.edu.ng/app/admissions/status_default_page
- 1st Step: Choose your program type. Available Programs are JAMB Post Utme Screening, WASP/Part-Time Admission Application, Pre-Degree & Direct Entry Post UTME.
- 2nd Step: Choose Search Pattern. The available Search pattern is By JAMB Registration Number or By Name.
- Selecting “By JAMB Registration Number’ will drop down an empty space
- Enter your JAMB registration in the space and click ‘Check Admission Status’ to see your EBSU admission status.
How to Check EBSU Admission Status on JAMB CAPS
Both UTME and Direct Entry candidates are to follow the steps shown below to check their admission status on the JAMB CAPS Admission Status portal.
- Visit JAMB CAPS Portal @ jamb.gov.ng/efacility/.
- Use your details to login to your JAMB Portal
- Required Login details si your username (JAMB email and password).
- Navigate and click on ‘Check Admission Status’.
- Select your Exam year (2021) and Enter your JAMB registration number.
- Finally, tap on ‘Check Admission Status’ to see your DELSU admission status.

How can I check my EBSU admission list?
- Go to jamb.org.ng/efacility.
- Login to your JAMB profile with your JAMB username (JAMB email) and password.
- Locate and click on ‘Check Admission Status’.
- Choose your Exam year
- Enter your JAMB registration number in the column.
- Click on ‘Check Admission Status’ to see your admission status.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the admission status page to accept your admission by clicking on the “Accept” button.

- If it has not, then upload your O’level here
