The recent release of the names of admitted DELSU UTME and Direct entry candidates is done in line with the Joint Admission Matriculation Board directives.
Secondly, candidates that are not yet admitted on the DELSU merit list are advised to wait for the second list, third list, or fourth supplementary list.
Is DELSU Admission List for 2021 Out?
Note: The management of the Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, has released the actual guidelines to check the DELSU first (1st), second (2nd), third (3rd), fourth list (4th batch).
Candidates can also check the DELSU supplementary list 2021 for UTME and Direct Entry candidates that have been supplementary admission.
As such, the school management has given candidates directives on how they can check their admission list on the JAMB CAPS portal or download the admission list through the DELSU admission portal.
Note; The DELSU admission status portal and the JAMB CAPS status checking portals are the only approved portal for checking DELSI 2021 admission status online.

- Go to the official DELSU admission status checking portal via https://delsu.edu.ng/checkadmission.aspx or https://delsu.edu.ng/printadmin.aspx
- Scroll down to where you will see 2021/2022 UTME/DIRECT ENTRY ADMISSION
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number in the empty space
- Click on ‘Print’ to see your DELSU admission status.

The JAMB CAPS which is the recommended portal for candidates to check their admission status has been open for candidates to check their admission status.
Both UTME and Direct Entry candidates are to follow the steps and procedure shown below to check their admission status.
- Visit JAMB CAPS Portal @ jamb.gov.ng/efacility/.
- Use your details to login to your JAMB Portal
- Required Login details are your username (JAMB email and password).
- Navigate and click on ‘Check Admission Status’.
- Select your Exam year (2021) and Enter your JAMB registration number.
- Finally, tap on ‘Check Admission Status’ to see your DELSU admission status.
How To Accept Admission Status and Print Admission Letter
If you are admitted, then go ahead and accept your admission status on JAMB CAPS. Follow the steps below to accept your admission status;
- Click on ‘Access my CAPS’.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the admission status page to accept your admission by clicking on the “Accept” button.
But if you have not been admitted yet, then do the following:
- Check if your O’level has been uploaded here
- If it has not, then upload your O’level here
- After that, keep checking your admission status day-by-day.
Note: Admitted candidates on the JAMB CAPS portal are therefore advised to accept their admission within two weeks because candidates that do not accept their admission within two weeks will be replaced.

The Delta State University Admission is said to be holistic and selective. To easily gain admission in Delsu, you will need a high JAMB Score and a good O’level grades.
You must also make DELSU your first choice if you are applying through DELSU UTME undergraduate entry.
