How to Check if O’level Result has been Uploaded on JAMB CAPS Portal

Previously, I showed you how to upload your result but now, I will be guiding you on how to check if your O’level Result has been Uploaded on JAMB CAPS Portal.

Like I said in the previous update, all candidates are required to confirm if their O’level result (including WAEC Result, NECO, GCE or NABTEB) has been uploaded on JAMB CAPS Portal.

Before proceed to upload your result, it is advisable to first of all check and confirmed if your result had not been uploaded already. Candidates who used awaiting results will already know that their results were not uploaded. So as such, such candidates should just go ahead and upload their O’level results here.

But this guide is for those who supplied their result during JAMB registration and those who have uploaded their awaiting result already but wish to check if their result has been successfully uploaded on JAMB CAPS Portal should follow the steps below to confirm that.

How will I be sure that my O’level result has been uploaded to JAMB portal?

To be sure that your O’level result has been uploaded on JAMB Portal, you have to confirm it. Confirming it involves checking your JAMB CAPS Portal to see if your O’level result is there. How can you confirm if your O’level result has been uploaded? you can confirm that following the steps below.

Steps to Confirm if your O’level Result has been Uploaded on JAMB CAPS Portal.

Candidates that want to check if their O’level Result has been uploaded can do so using either of, their phones or PC. So I will outline the necessary steps to confirm your O’level result using a phone or a Laptop.

How to Check Using a Phone

• Visit the JAMB efacility portal @jamb.org.ng/efacility/
• when using a phone, I recommend you to use browsers like chrome or firefox and not Opera mini
• Login to your Profile using your email and password.
• Navigate and change your browser to “Desktop site”. You will see that from the image displayed below

• Tabbing on the three-dotted lines (┇) will bring down some options as shown in the image below

• Select the option and tick that option that reads “Desktop site”
  Now, you will be using the desktop version of your phone and you will be able to undergo the process just as if you are using a laptop.
• From the screen options, locate where you will “Check Admission Status” and select it.
• On doing that, you will see the option and then, you will need to select the option that reads “Access my CAPS”
• Selecting “Access my CAPS” will bring out options including the “My O’level” tab on the “My O’level” to view your O’level result.
• Your subjects and their grades will be displayed if your O’level was successfully uploaded. But if nothing is displayed, then kindly upload your O’level result here.

What is Does it mean when Your Grades are showing AR

When your result is displayed with its grade showing AR, that simply means that your result was not successfully uploaded. form the feedback we have been receiving, some candidates complained that they uploaded their O’level but still see AR.

So the question now is, Can someone upload his or her result but still see AR?

The answer is NO!!! If you have uploaded your O’level result but still see ‘AR’ when trying to confirm it on JAMB CAPS, then there are two suggestions:

• Maybe the upload has been done successfully by not yet confirmed and updated by the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS)
• Or, the process was not successful.

I have uploaded my O’level but it is not showing on JAMB CAPS, why?

At this point, if you just finish uploading your O’level result, then you have to hold on for some time for the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) to confirm and update the result. But if you did it long ago and it is still not reflecting, then revisit the CBT Center to make complain.

What will happen if someone does not upload O’level Result On JAMB CAPS?

Any candidate that fails to upload his or her O’level result will automatically not be given admission. Meanwhile, candidates who will love to use either Laptop to check if their O’level result has been Uploaded on JAMB CAPS Portal should follow the steps below.

• Visit the JAMB efacility portal @jamb.org.ng/efacility/
• Login to your Profile using your email and password.
• Navigate and tab on “Check Admission Status” and select the option “Access my CAPS”
• Tab on the “My O’level” option to view your O’level result.
• Your subjects and their grades will be displayed if your O’level was successfully uploaded. But if nothing is displayed, then kindly upload your O’level result here.
