eCampus DCCCD is a official course management system. Students can use it to access their courses and submit assignments, as well as monitor their academic progress. Course designers can use eCampus to create, manage, update and publish their courses.
Courses are hosted on a server maintained by dcccd.blackboard.com, but they can be accessed through any web browser that supports HTML5, including mobile devices. For those of you who don’t know, Blackboard is our campus’ learning management system (LMS). It’s used for a variety of things, including course sites.
To log in to your DCCCD Blackboard site, you will need your username and password. These should not be the same as your NetID. If you do not know them, please contact your instructor or department chairperson.
All Dallas County Community College District (DCCCD) workers and students can log in to DCCCD via ecampus.dcccd.com using their Microsoft username and password, which is powered by the dcccd.blackboard.com online portal.
Students can use the campus DCCCD website to attend DCCCD courses, pay college fees, apply for a degree, and access student services, among other things. The eCampus DCCCD admission policy allows all applicants to apply for DCCCD via one of the different DCCCD application processes to gain access to a college education once admission is granted.
Students can apply for a college degree at Dcccd online college in a variety of methods. However, there are some basic requirements to meet before applying for a DCCCD campus college degree.
Requirements for eCampus DCCCD

eCampus DCCCD First-Time Students
As a first-time student (fresh student), you must meet the following basic prerequisites to apply for a Dallas County Community College degree:
- You must be at least 18 years old to participate.
- You must have graduated from a high school that is recognized by the state.
- You must hold an International Baccalaureate Diploma (IBD).
- You must possess a General Education Diploma (G.E.D).
- If you are under the age requirement to apply for DCCCD and do not have a high school diploma, International Baccalaureate Diploma, or General Education Diploma, you must submit a written recommendation from the principal or superintendent of the high school you attended, or meet with the VPI or designee for individual approval of your studentship.
- If you are still 16 years old and have not graduated from an eCampus DCCCD accredited high school, you must submit a written recommendation from the principal or superintendent of the last school where you completed your high school or a TSI approved result, as well as a notarized record of the high school where you completed which is equivalent to accredited school work completed and the delete that you completed its program. Finally, complete your studentship enrolment agreement, stating that you understand and accept that academic freedom and the collegiate environment are supported in all courses offered by the college, as well as that you must agree to all limitations and conditions imposed by the college authority on your admission.
- Before registering, you must submit your test score from a TSI-certified test, an official high school transcript from the last five years or GED completion certification, and valid meningitis documentation, in addition to the preceding requirements.

Students In High School
The following are the requirements for high school students to apply for DCCCD education, according to the eCampus DCCCD.
You may be admitted with a written recommendation from your high school principal if you have completed your junior year in an authorized high school. You must also show results from one of the state-approved examinations, such as the TSIA, ACT, SAT, TAKS, or STAAR, that demonstrate your ability to do college-level work.
TSIA is a program offered at the college. In most cases, you can only take two courses every semester. The college’s vice president or designate will meet with prospective students under the age of sixteen (16) and their parents to clarify the students’, parents’, and college’s expectations of college readiness concerns.
These factors will be taken into account when deciding whether or not a student is ready for college-level coursework:
- You may be admitted if you have not finished your junior year at an authorized high school and meet all of the following requirements:
- Submit a letter of recommendation from your high school administrator;
- Provide TSIA, TAKS, or STAAR scores that demonstrate your ability to do college-level work;
- The college’s vice president or designate will meet with prospective students under the age of sixteen (16) and their parents to clarify the students’, parents’, and college’s expectations of college readiness concerns. These factors will be taken into account when deciding whether or not a student is ready for college-level coursework.
- If you have finished the equivalent of the junior year (16 units) in high school and are enrolled in non-accredited high schools or have been educated in a non-traditional setting (i.e., home-schooled), you may be admitted if you meet all of the following requirements:
- Provide a notarized record of finished school topics (by Texas Education Agency minimal standards);
- Provide TSIA, TAKS, or STAAR scores that demonstrate your ability to do college-level work;
- Fill out the enrollment agreement, stating that you understand and accept that academic freedom and the collegiate environment are promoted in all of the college’s courses.
- Accept the constraints on admissions conditions.
- Obtain approval from the Vice President of Instruction or designate of the College.
- High school pupils are often not admitted to developmental courses unless the college and the school have signed a contract for such services. The majority of financial aid programs are only available to students who have completed high school or have a G.E.D. Please read the catalog’s Financial Aid section for further information.
How To Apply For DCCCD eCampus
There are three ways to apply for a Dallas County Community College degree through the DCCCD. The result of the entire procedure is the same. Whichever option you select will assist you in completing the DCCCD education application process.
How To Apply Online
The eConnect Application for credit admission can be used to apply for a Dallas County Community College Degree (DCCCD). DCCCD provides the eConnect web service, which allows all applicants to receive individualized information and conduct business online.
How To Apply By Fax or Email
You can also apply for DCCCD education by mailing or faxing your 315kb pdf file to the appropriate department at the college of your choosing.
How To Apply In Person
You can also apply in person. Instead of going to the DCCCD eConnect web portal to apply or downloading the DCCCD application form, filling it out, and sending it to the college for approval, you can go to the admission/office registrars of the institution you want to attend and fill out the application form.
Meanwhile, whether you apply in person, online, by mail, or over the phone, you must be able to give all of the required information for DCCCD eligibility.
How To Login To eCampus Dcccd
Your eCampus DCCCD login will be granted once you have been offered admission, and you will be able to check in to your DCCCD account and apply for courses (classes), among other things.
- Visit ecampus.dcccd.edu for more information.
- Select “Access My Courses Now” from the drop-down menu.
- Click “Next” after entering your username, Skype username, or phone number.
- Click “Next” after entering your “Password.”
- You will be transferred from the eCampus DCCCD login page to your student portal, where you can access all of your courses, view class schedules, and make online payments, among other things.
- You can do all of this in person simply walking to the appropriate department in your institution without having to log into your eCampus DCCCD account.
How To Reset Your eCampus DCCCD Password
When you try to log in to your eCampus account, you will get the option “can’t access my account.” The following link will assist you in resetting your eCampus DCCCD password.
- In your browser, go to www.ecampus.dcccd.edu.
- Select “Can’t access your account” from the drop-down menu.
- Select whether your eCampus account is a work or school account created by your IT department, or personal if you created your account yourself.
- Click “Next” after entering your username, phone number, or Skype account.
- Select your campus DCCCD login verification method and then click “Next.” DCCCD will send a verification number to your email address if you choose email verification. Select “I have a code” if you already have a verification code.
- The recovery email address will get your eCampus DCCCD password verification code. Click “Next” after copying and pasting the code into the eCampus.dcccd.edu password reset portal.
- After you’ve completed the steps above, you’ll be prompted to create a new password for your eCampus DCCCD account.
