The college is among the colleges and universities that endured and survived the 19th century and still retain its liberal arts focus.

2020-2022 Acceptance Rate Colorado College

The average acceptance rate of Colorado College is 15%, which means that out of 100 students who apply, only 15 are admitted making the school a very selective one. A high score is required to pass the institution’s first round. In the second round, you must impress them beyond ordinary academic scores.

Due to the extremely selective nature of the college, obtaining a high SAT score and GPA is crucial to have a chance through in the second stage. You may likely be rejected without further consideration if you don’t pass their SAT and GPA requirements.

Aim for the 75th percentile, with nothing less than 1470 SAT and a 3.89 GPA or higher, to increase your chances of enrolling.

The second screening stage is more challenging. Candidates need to impress the school beyond academic scores. Your accomplishments will count, as well as your extracurricular activities in high school. But with good records of accomplishment and extracurricular activities, your chances are slim if you score 1385 SAT or below.

Colorado College is very selective and highly competitive. The college’s acceptance rate of 15 per cent makes it very difficult for candidates to get in. But with the above requirements, getting admitted and enrolled is pretty much easy as they maintain high standards of education amongst other universities and colleges in Colorado.

Remember, your chances of getting admitted rely not only on your GPA and SAT/ACT scores but also on your coursework difficulty, extracurriculars, letters of recommendation, and personal statements.
